| NOTES | Slicing thickness: 0-15 mm |
A gravity-feed slicer uses a circular blade to cut through meat, cheese, vegetables and bread without crushing. The blade spins at a constant speed while the carriage slides the product forward under its own weight, letting the operator control thickness by adjusting the stop. This method gives clean, even slices and keeps the product cool, which is essential for deli meats and soft cheeses that would smear under pressure.
The FIMAR H330 is loaded by placing the product on the carriage, setting the thickness dial between 0 and 15 mm, and starting the motor. The carriage glides forward automatically, bringing the product into contact with the blade. After each pass the carriage returns, ready for the next slice. The operator collects the slices from the tray beneath the blade, where they fall without further handling.
The unit is built with a stainless steel blade, carriage and body. The blade diameter is 330 mm as standard, with 350 mm and 370 mm options available. The slicer runs on a 0.37 kW motor and requires a three-phase 230-400 V supply, which is typical for equipment that runs continuously in a busy kitchen.
The thickness control adjusts the gap between the blade and the carriage stop, giving slices from paper-thin to 15 mm. The 32 kg weight keeps the slicer stable on a worktop without bolting, while the 770 mm length, 550 mm width and 465 mm height fit into a standard catering workstation.
Cleaning follows from the construction: the blade, carriage and tray are removed for washing, while the stainless steel body is wiped down with a sanitising cloth. The carriage and tray are dishwasher-safe, and the blade is sharpened with a standard 330 mm sharpening stone.
The H330 is listed in the FIMAR catalogue under slicers for medium-volume kitchens, delis and sandwich shops.
