for MX40, FX40 models
A hand blender whisk emulsifies, whips and blends without a motor. The operator turns a handle that drives a wire whisk at the end of a shaft. The whisk's loops shear air into liquids or break fat globules into fine droplets, creating stable foams, light batters and smooth sauces.
To use the FM3, hold the shaft in one hand and turn the crank handle with the other. The whisk spins inside the bowl or jug, folding air into cream or blending oil into egg yolks for mayonnaise. When the mixture reaches the desired consistency, stop turning and lift the whisk clear. No power cord, no battery and no stand means the unit can be used anywhere on the worktop or taken to the pass.
The FM3 is built as a single stainless-steel shaft with a wire whisk permanently attached. The handle is moulded plastic, contoured for a firm grip during prolonged use. The whisk's loops are close enough to trap air and fat but spaced to prevent clogging with thicker mixtures.
Cleaning follows from the construction: rinse the whisk and shaft under hot water immediately after use to prevent residue drying on. For stubborn deposits, soak in warm soapy water and scrub with a non-abrasive pad, taking care not to bend the wire loops. Dry thoroughly before storage to prevent corrosion.
The FM3 is listed in the FIMAR catalogue under manual preparation tools, alongside other non-powered equipment for professional kitchens.
