FIMAR ME4050 Hand Blender Attachment 50 cm

A hand blender attachment extends the working length of an immersion blender, letting the operator process ingredients in taller or deeper containers without splashing or lifting the base unit. The attachment slides onto the motor shaft and locks in place, transmitting the rotation to the blade assembly at the far end. Because the blade is lowered directly into the vessel, there is no transfer of food, no extra washing, and no risk of overheating from a separate motor.

The operator fits the attachment to the blender, lowers it into the container until the blade is submerged, then starts the motor. Speed is controlled at the base unit, so the same switches and programmes are used. When the task is finished, the attachment is removed, rinsed and stored separately.

This 50 cm attachment is made of stainless steel tubing, giving the necessary rigidity to keep the blade aligned under load. The neck length is measured from the locking collar to the blade guard, allowing the operator to judge how deep the container must be to keep the blade fully covered.

The attachment fits FIMAR MX40 and FX40 immersion blenders, matching the shaft diameter and locking mechanism of those models. No tools are required for fitting or removal.

In a professional kitchen the extended reach is used for blending soups, sauces and batters directly in stock pots, bain-maries and tall mixing bowls. The longer neck also lets the operator stand further from the container, reducing the risk of splashing hot liquids.
