A stainless steel disc cut to 20 mm square and 5 mm thick, the FIMAR NPD20X5 serves as a replaceable wear or spacing element inside professional catering machinery. Such discs are ground to tight tolerances so they can be stacked, rotated or indexed without binding, allowing precise adjustment of gaps, clearances or pressure points within slicers, dicers, grinders and portioning units. The disc itself does not move; it is clamped or bolted into position between moving parts. Its flat faces distribute load evenly, preventing localised wear on shafts, blades or housings. The 5 mm thickness gives enough rigidity to resist bending under load while keeping the overall assembly compact. Edges are deburred and chamfered to avoid sharp corners that could damage seals or food contact surfaces. To install, the operator removes the access panel or cover of the host machine, locates the worn or damaged disc, unbolts or unclamps it, and replaces it with the new NPD20X5. The disc is aligned by its square profile and secured with the original fasteners. Once the cover is refitted, the machine is ready for service. Constructed from stainless steel, the disc resists corrosion from food acids, cleaning chemicals and moisture. It requires no lubrication and can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth or by immersion in standard kitchen sanitising solutions. Its single-piece stainless steel body lets you scrub off dough, sauce, or fat under running water without fear of trapped residue. The 20x20x5 mm dimensions match the original specification of FIMAR and compatible equipment that uses this standardised disc size.
