A pedal-operated waste container keeps hands free in a busy kitchen. The operator steps on the pedal at the base, lifting the lid without touching the bin. This design reduces cross-contamination and speeds up waste disposal during service.

The bin is loaded by dropping waste bags or loose scraps through the top opening. When the container is full, the operator removes the bag or tips the contents directly into a larger waste skip. The lid closes automatically when the pedal is released, sealing odours inside.

Built from polyethylene, the bin resists stains and corrosion from kitchen waste. The 200 mm wheels allow the unit to be rolled across tiled or concrete floors without lifting. A footprint of 540 mm by 490 mm fits under most worktops or in corner spaces.

The 120 litre capacity holds a full service's waste without frequent emptying. A height of 850 mm brings the opening to a comfortable working level for staff of average height. The blue colour helps waste streams stay organised in kitchens that separate food, recyclables and general rubbish.

Cleaning involves wiping the polyethylene surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The pedal mechanism requires occasional lubrication to keep the lid opening smoothly. An optional pedal upgrade is available for an additional charge.
