The foot pedal lifts the lid without contact, allowing staff to dispose of rubbish while carrying trays or handling food. The container stands on four 200 mm wheels, two of which swivel for manoeuvrability. This size of wheel rolls smoothly over kitchen floors, door thresholds and uneven surfaces without jolting or tipping. The unit can be positioned where it is needed most—next to prep stations, under worktops or near service doors—and moved easily for cleaning or reorganisation.

Constructed from polyethylene, the container resists moisture, grease and cleaning chemicals. The material does not dent, rust or absorb odours, and its smooth surface allows quick wiping between shifts. The yellow colour is standardised for recycling streams, helping kitchens maintain waste segregation programmes.

The overall dimensions of 550 mm wide, 480 mm deep and 930 mm high allow the container to fit through standard doorways and under most worktops.
