A strong support surface for manual meat processing.
Suitable for butchers and meat industries.
A butcher chopping block provides a stable, hygienic work surface designed for cutting, portioning and preparing meat. The block absorbs the impact of cleavers and knives without dulling blades, while its weight and construction prevent movement during use. Polyethylene is chosen for its resistance to moisture, bacteria and deep cuts, allowing thorough cleaning without warping or splintering over time.
The operator places the block on the stainless steel stool, which raises the work surface to a comfortable height for standing work. The stool's open frame allows debris to fall through, keeping the floor clear and reducing slip hazards. No assembly is required; the block rests directly on the stool, ready for immediate use.
The polyethylene surface is seamless, with no joints or crevices where meat particles or cleaning water can collect. The stool's AISI 304 stainless steel resists corrosion from blood, brine and cleaning chemicals, and its smooth finish prevents snagging of protective clothing or meat wrappers.
The overall dimensions of 700 x 700 x 880 mm create a compact footprint suitable for tight workspaces while providing enough surface area for whole joints or multiple smaller cuts. The height of 880 mm positions the block at standard worktop level, matching adjacent sinks, hobs and prep tables for an organised workflow.
Cleaning involves scraping off meat residue, washing the surface with hot water and sanitiser, and wiping the stool with a damp cloth. The polyethylene does not require oiling or sealing, and the stainless steel does not need polishing beyond routine wiping.
The block and stool are supplied as a single unit, with no variants or additional components.
