A laundry basket on multidirectional wheels moves large volumes of linen across a busy kitchen, laundry room or hotel corridor without lifting. The wheels swivel in any direction, letting the operator steer around corners, through doorways and past worktops without stopping. This design eliminates the need to carry heavy loads, reducing strain and speeding up the transfer of soiled or clean linen between washing machines, drying areas and storage cupboards.

The basket is loaded from the top, with linen stacked inside until the sides support the weight. Once full, the operator pushes the unit by its frame, using the wheels to roll it across floors. The multidirectional castors allow tight turns, so the basket can be manoeuvred through narrow passages or around obstacles like trolleys and hobs. When the destination is reached, the linen is removed by hand or tipped out, depending on the workflow.

Construction consists of electro-varnished steel tube and rod, forming a rigid frame that resists bending under load. The varnish coating protects the metal from moisture and detergents, preventing rust and extending the life of the basket in wet environments. The wheels are fitted to the base, keeping the centre of gravity low for stability when the basket is fully loaded.

The size of 800 mm long, 510 mm wide and 720 mm high provides a large capacity while remaining narrow enough to pass through standard doorways. The height allows easy access for loading and unloading without bending, and the footprint fits within the space of a typical laundry sorting area or kitchen corridor.

Cleaning involves wiping the steel frame with a damp cloth to remove dust and detergent residue. The varnish finish prevents staining, so no special cleaning agents are required. The wheels should be checked periodically for debris that could impede movement, and the frame inspected for signs of wear or damage to the varnish coating.
