FORCAR G-GNV1200DT Refrigerated Cabinet Freezer GN2/1

This cabinet freezer from FORCAR provides two separate compartments, each offering 507 litres of storage for gastronorm GN2/1 pans. A concealed evaporator and fan-driven airflow maintain consistent temperatures throughout, preventing uneven cooling even with frequent door openings. Frost is removed automatically, and an electric heater around the door frame stops condensation from forming on surfaces below the unit.

Six pairs of stainless-steel runners are included, allowing GN2/1 pans to slide easily into place. The electronic control panel lets users set each compartment independently, with a range from -22 °C to +8 °C, so one side can store frozen goods while the other keeps chilled items ready for service. A digital display shows the current temperature, and an internal light brightens the interior when the door is opened. The door closes automatically on a spring mechanism and locks with a key to protect valuable stock.

Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, the cabinet features 60 mm of insulation for energy efficiency. The bottom and rear external panels are galvanised to resist corrosion, and the interior has rounded corners for straightforward cleaning. Adjustable feet ensure the unit sits level on uneven floors, and the door gasket can be replaced without tools. Condensation water evaporates automatically, removing the need for a drain.

The cabinet measures 1340 mm wide, 830 mm deep, and 2010 mm high, fitting through standard kitchen doorways. Its weight requires two people or equipment to move safely. It operates on a 220-240 V single-phase supply. The R290 refrigerant is a hydrocarbon with a low environmental impact, delivering efficient cooling in both chilled and frozen settings.

Both 507-litre compartments are identical, offering two distinct temperature zones within a single unit. The supplied six GN2/1 grids and slides maximise usable space, and the door can be hinged on either side to match kitchen layout requirements.
