FORCAR G-SNACK400TN Refrigerated Snack Cabinet

A refrigerated cabinet designed to hold bottled and canned drinks at chilled service temperatures without freezing. Static cooling circulates chilled air from an upper refrigeration unit through an internal fan and air-conveyor system, distributing the cold evenly across every shelf. The method keeps the interior dry, preventing ice build-up on products and reducing the need for frequent defrosting cycles.

The operator loads drinks onto the three supplied wire grids, each sized for standard bottles and cans. The electronic thermostat is set once to the desired temperature between -2 °C and +8 °C; the cabinet then maintains that range automatically. A self-closing spring on the reversible door ensures the cold air stays inside, while an electrical heating element around the frame stops condensation forming on the glass. Condensation water drips into a collecting basin beneath the evaporator, eliminating the need for manual drainage.

The cabinet is built with a stainless-steel AISI 304 interior and exterior back and bottom panels in galvanised plate. Rounded interior corners and a tool-free extractable door gasket simplify cleaning. Height-adjustable feet in stainless steel allow the unit to stand level on uneven floors. The upper motor compartment is insulated to reduce noise and heat transfer into the storage area.

An electronic temperature controller displays the current setting and allows precise adjustment within the -2 °C to +8 °C range. The 260 W power rating indicates a modest load on a standard 220-240 V, 50 Hz circuit, suitable for most commercial kitchens. The 429 L volume provides ample space for bulk drink storage, while the external dimensions of 680 mm width and 700 mm depth fit through standard doorways and against worktops. The 152 kg weight requires two people or a trolley to move the cabinet into position.

Automatic defrosting cycles remove ice from the evaporator without manual intervention, and the collecting basin captures the meltwater. The R290 cooling gas is a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low environmental impact. The cabinet is supplied with three wire grids and three pairs of slides for shelf adjustment.

The reversible door can be hinged on either side to suit the kitchen layout, and a key-operated lock secures the contents. The unit is categorised in the snack and beverage line of refrigerated cabinets.
