+5°C / +12°C; 12°C/ 20°C Glass door refrigerated wine cooler with dual temperature. Delivery time ~ 2 weeks
A ventilated refrigerated wine cooler maintains two separate temperature zones by circulating chilled air with a fan. The fan draws heat from the stored bottles and expels it through a condenser, while the cooling gas R600a absorbs the heat without harming the environment.
The G-VI180D offers two independent compartments: the upper zone runs from 5 °C to 12 °C for white and sparkling wines, while the lower zone spans 12 °C to 20 °C for reds. The operator sets the desired range on the touch pad, and the cooler automatically adjusts the fan speed and compressor cycle to reach and hold the target. Once the temperature is stable, the unit switches to energy-saving mode, reducing power draw while keeping the climate constant.
Loading is straightforward: three black ABS grids slide out on paired runners, allowing bottles to be laid horizontally. The reversible glass door can be hinged on either side to fit the kitchen layout. An internal LED strip illuminates the cabinet whenever the door opens, so labels remain legible without raising the internal temperature.
The cabinet is built from black painted sheet metal on the exterior, with a rear panel in stainless steel AISI 430 and internal side walls in black ABS. A 55 mm layer of insulation separates the interior from the ambient air, and automatic defrosting evaporates any condensed water without manual intervention. The door seal is magnetic, ensuring a tight closure that keeps the cold air inside and the warm air out.
The touch pad controls temperature selection and lighting. One button sets the upper zone, another the lower zone, and a third toggles the LED strip on or off. The display shows the current temperature for each zone, so the operator can verify settings at a glance.
A 379 L capacity translates to space for up to 95 standard Bordeaux bottles. The external footprint of 595 mm wide by 710 mm deep fits against a standard worktop or under a wall cupboard, while the 1720 mm height allows bottles to be stacked vertically without exceeding headroom. The 85 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people, and the adjustable feet level it on uneven floors.
The 160 W power rating draws a modest load from a 220–240 V single-phase circuit, suitable for most professional kitchens. The cooler is designed to operate in ambient temperatures up to 32 °C and relative humidity of 55%, so it remains stable in a busy back-of-house environment.
Cleaning involves wiping the black ABS interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the stainless-steel rear panel can be cleaned with a stainless-steel cleaner to prevent streaks. The grids and slides are removable for thorough washing, and the automatic defrost cycle eliminates the need to manually remove ice build-up.
The G-VI180D is supplied with three grids and three pairs of slides. The reversible door and adjustable feet are factory-fitted options that do not require additional parts.
This model is listed in the FORCAR professional refrigeration catalogue under ventilated wine coolers.
