Stainless steel heated marmite with 1 infrared lamp that will help to keep food warm
A heated marmite keeps large batches of soups, stews and sauces at serving temperature without scorching or drying out. Instead of a water bath or direct electric element, this unit uses an infrared lamp mounted above the well. The lamp emits radiant heat that warms the surface of the food evenly, while the adjustable thermostat cycles the lamp to hold the set point between +30 °C and +90 °C. The result is a gentle, consistent warmth that prevents hot spots and keeps the contents fluid for hours. To use the marmite, place a GN1/1 gastronorm pan filled with pre-cooked food into the well. Set the thermostat dial to the desired temperature; the indicator lamp glows while the lamp is active. Once the temperature is reached, the lamp switches on and off automatically to maintain the setting. The operator can then leave the pan in place for service, topping up as needed without interrupting the heat. The unit is built on a stainless steel frame that resists corrosion and wipes clean. The infrared lamp is housed in a protective guard above the well, and the thermostat control is mounted on the front panel. A single-phase 220–240 V supply powers the lamp and control circuit, drawing 0.25 kW under load. The footprint of 600 × 330 mm fits standard worktop depths, while the 680 mm height allows the lamp to clear the pan without crowding overhead shelves. Cleaning is limited to the parts the entry names: the stainless steel frame is washed with a damp cloth and mild detergent, the lamp guard is wiped to remove splashes, and the thermostat dial is kept free of grease to ensure smooth adjustment. The infrared lamp and stainless steel body slide out as a single module so the well beneath can be wiped clean without tools. The FORCAR BI4719 is a single model; no variants are listed. It is catalogued under heated holding equipment for professional kitchens.
