A glasswasher removes residues from glassware by spraying hot water under pressure, then rinsing with a final hot rinse to eliminate detergent and prevent spotting. The water is heated electrically and circulated through rotating arms positioned above and below the glass basket, ensuring full coverage. Hot rinsing at the end of the cycle raises the temperature of the glassware, causing it to dry quickly without manual wiping. This method preserves the clarity of glass and reduces breakage compared to manual washing, where uneven drying can leave streaks or require handling while still wet.

To operate the LABI40N, the operator loads the 40x40 cm glass basket with up to 12 place settings of glassware, then selects one of four washing cycles from the 6-character LED display. The machine fills automatically through the anti-reflux valve, heats the water, and begins the wash phase. During operation, the self-diagnosis system monitors water temperature, pressure, and detergent levels, displaying any faults on the screen. At the end of the cycle, the Thermostop function triggers a hot rinse, raising the water temperature to eliminate detergent and speed drying. The self-cleaning cycle runs at the end of the day, flushing the interior and arms to prevent scale build-up.

The LABI40N is constructed from stainless steel, including the interior and exterior panels, providing resistance to corrosion and wear in a busy kitchen. The washing and rinsing arms are made of composite material and can be removed without tools for cleaning or replacement. An electric rinse aid dispenser, adjustable from the display, releases the correct amount of rinse aid during the final rinse to prevent water spots. The machine includes an automatic filling system, a standard anti-reflux valve to prevent backflow, and a 2 m water inlet hose and 2.5 m drain hose for flexible installation.
