Perfect for mixing and forming pasta into various shapes
A pasta maker mixes, kneads and extrudes fresh dough into strands without manual rolling. The motor drives a helical auger inside a stainless-steel barrel; as the auger turns, it compresses the dough against the barrel walls and forces it through a die at the front. The shape of the die determines the pasta profile—spaghetti, tagliatelle or other forms—while the steady pressure from the auger ensures uniform texture and density throughout the batch.
To operate, load the dry ingredients into the removable bowl, fit the lid and secure it. The safety microswitch on the lid prevents the motor starting unless the cover is closed. Set the digital control panel to the desired programme; the panel governs mixing time, kneading speed and extrusion pressure. Once the programme starts, the auger begins turning, pulling the ingredients together into a cohesive dough. During the cycle, the slits in the lid allow additional liquids or eggs to be added without stopping the machine. When the extrusion phase begins, the dough is pushed through the die and cut to length by a rotating blade beneath the outlet.
The PF15E is built from stainless steel throughout the mixing barrel, auger and die. The bowl lifts out completely for cleaning, and the lid is dishwasher-safe. A digital control panel on the front sets mixing duration, kneading intensity and extrusion speed; each setting is displayed on a backlit LCD screen.
The 0.25 kW motor draws power from a standard 220–240 V single-phase circuit, the same supply used by most commercial worktop appliances. At 16 kg, the unit can be carried by one person and placed on a sturdy worktop or mobile stand. Its footprint—239 mm deep, 512 mm wide and between 317 mm and 454 mm high—fits beneath standard wall cupboards when the lid is closed.
After each use, remove the bowl and rinse it under warm water or place it in a dishwasher. Wipe the auger and die with a damp cloth to clear any dough residue, then dry all parts before reassembly. The digital control panel should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and never sprayed directly with water.
The PF15E is a single model; no variants or additional dies are listed for this article.
