Temperature range +2/ +10
A refrigerated trolley keeps prepared food chilled while it is moved from the kitchen to the service point. Static cooling draws heat from the interior through a refrigeration coil mounted behind the liner. The coil cools the air inside without a fan, so the temperature stays even and the food is not dried by moving air. The unit is loaded with gastronorm trays; the trolley itself does not include the trays.
The operator wheels the trolley to the worktop, slides the three GN1/1 trays into the guides, and closes the door. A thermostat maintains the temperature between +2 °C and +10 °C. The static system needs no defrost cycle, so the trolley is ready at any time. When the service period ends, the trays are removed and the trolley is returned to the kitchen for cleaning.
The cabinet is built from AISI 304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and is easy to sanitise. The door is also stainless steel. Four swivel castors—two with brakes—carry the load and allow the trolley to be steered in any direction. The castors are 125 mm in diameter, giving clearance over floor joints and door thresholds.
A single-phase 230 V 50 Hz supply powers the refrigeration unit. The 0.25 kW rating keeps the electrical load low, so the trolley can be plugged into a standard kitchen circuit without overloading it. The footprint of 1240 mm by 720 mm fits through standard kitchen doorways and service lifts. The height of 940 mm brings the work surface to a comfortable level for loading and unloading trays.
After use, the interior and exterior stainless steel surfaces are wiped with a sanitising solution. The refrigeration coil behind the liner is cleaned with a soft brush to remove dust that would reduce cooling efficiency. The castors are checked for free movement and the brakes are tested to ensure the trolley stays in place when parked.
This model is designed for three GN1/1 trays with a maximum depth of 150 mm each. No other tray sizes or containers are specified.
