GEMM WL6/122P Pass-Through Wine Display Cooler

A wine display cooler keeps bottles at serving temperature while letting customers see the labels. The unit draws heat out of the cabinet with a refrigeration circuit that circulates a low-boiling-point refrigerant. As the refrigerant evaporates inside the evaporator coil, it absorbs heat from the air; the compressor then raises the pressure and temperature of the vapour so it can condense in the condenser, releasing the heat outside. A fan moves air across the coil to speed the transfer, and a thermostat cycles the compressor to hold the set temperature. The result is even cooling throughout the cabinet, so every bottle is ready to pour at the same moment.

The GEMM WL6/122P is a pass-through model: one door opens into the service area, the other into the customer space. To load, the operator unlocks the service-side door, slides bottles onto the shelves, and sets the desired temperature on the 2.2-inch touch panel. The cooler then maintains the range between +4 °C and +16 °C automatically. Internal LED lighting switches on when either door is opened, and the brightness can be adjusted via remote control to suit the display setting. An automatic defrost cycle melts any ice that forms on the evaporator, and the condensate is drained away without manual intervention, so the unit runs continuously.

The cabinet is built from stainless steel, inside and out, for hygiene and durability. The exterior can be custom-painted to match the décor. A lockable door with key secures the stock, and the monoblock condensing unit is designed to run quietly, keeping noise below 43 dB. The refrigerant is R290, a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential, and the unit meets Climate Class 4, so it performs reliably even when the ambient temperature reaches +30 °C and 55% relative humidity.

The cooler measures 825 mm wide, 550 mm deep and 2200 mm high, giving a footprint that fits against a worktop or partition. It draws 0.49 kW from a single-phase 230 V supply, so it can be plugged into a standard kitchen circuit. Internal fittings such as shelves and bottle racks are not included and must be ordered separately. Warm-white LED lighting (2700 K) is available on request instead of the standard 6000 K white.
