Stainless steel table Gredil with shelf is a budget-class solution for professional kitchens. Foldable design for easy transport and installation.
A stainless-steel central work table provides a hygienic, flat surface for food preparation, plating and assembly in professional kitchens. The flat top collects ingredients, tools and finished dishes while the shelf underneath stores bowls, trays or small appliances, keeping the worktop clear. Stainless steel resists moisture, acids and cleaning chemicals, so the surface stays smooth and does not harbour bacteria, meeting food-safety standards without extra coatings.
The table stands on four legs joined by screws, creating a rigid frame that carries the weight of heavy pots, mixers or stacks of plates. A laminated board bonded to the underside of the worktop prevents sagging and adds stiffness, so the surface remains level even under concentrated loads. The legs fold flat against the underside, reducing the footprint for transport and storage without tools.
To assemble, the operator unfolds the legs, aligns the screw holes and tightens the fixings. The table is then positioned in the kitchen aisle or against a wall. Ingredients and utensils are placed on the worktop; heavier or less frequently used items go on the shelf below. After use, the surface is wiped with a damp cloth and sanitiser; the shelf is cleared and cleaned in the same way.
The table is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel throughout. The worktop and shelf are single sheets without raised edges, so spills run off and cleaning is straightforward. Legs are made from 40×40 mm steel profiles, giving stability on uneven floors. The laminated board reinforcement is bonded directly to the underside of the worktop.
Controls are limited to the screw fixings that secure the legs; once tightened, they require no further adjustment during normal use.
The dimensions 600 mm depth, 700 mm width and 850 mm height create a compact footprint that fits between standard kitchen aisles while providing enough clearance underneath for storage. The 600 mm depth allows two tables to be placed back-to-back in a central island configuration, doubling the work surface without increasing the aisle width. The 850 mm height suits most operators when standing, reducing bending and fatigue during long shifts.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then drying to prevent water marks. The laminated board underneath does not contact food and requires only occasional dusting. The screw fixings should be checked periodically for tightness to maintain stability.
The table is supplied as a single unit with folding legs, ready for assembly.
