Easy-to-assemble construction, made of stainless steel.
A sliding door storage cabinet keeps dry goods, utensils and small equipment organised without the swing of a hinged door. The door panel glides along a track mounted above and below, clearing the full width of the opening so shelves can be loaded and unloaded without obstruction. This design saves aisle space in tight kitchens and allows the cabinet to be placed flush against walls or under worktops. The cabinet is built as a freestanding unit with a rigid frame that supports adjustable shelves. Shelves can be repositioned to accommodate taller items or to create more frequent access points. The sliding mechanism relies on rollers that run inside the tracks, distributing the weight of the door evenly so it moves smoothly under load. To use the cabinet, the operator pulls the door along its track, selects the shelf, loads or unloads items, then slides the door closed. The door remains aligned by the upper and lower tracks, preventing sag or binding. Shelves are set at the desired height before stocking begins, using the pre-drilled holes in the side panels. Construction is entirely in stainless steel, chosen for resistance to corrosion, moisture and frequent cleaning. The surface is non-porous, so it does not absorb odours or harbour bacteria. The cabinet arrives in compact cardboard packaging, with assembly tools included. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors. A protective equipotential pin is fitted to the frame, providing a safe path for electrical faults and reducing the risk of static build-up. This is a standard safety feature in professional kitchens where multiple metal appliances are used. The footprint of 1000 mm width, 700 mm depth and 1800 mm height determines the floor space the cabinet occupies and the clearance needed for the sliding door to open fully. The weight of the unit, combined with the adjustable feet, ensures stability without anchoring to walls or floors. Stainless steel doors slide silently on their tracks, letting kitchen staff wipe down the entire front without reaching around corners or disturbing stored ingredients. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning. The sliding tracks should be kept free of debris to maintain smooth operation. No lubrication is required for the rollers or tracks. The cabinet is supplied as a single version with adjustable shelves and a sliding door mechanism.
