An ice cream container holds freshly churned or pre-packaged product at the low temperatures needed to keep texture and flavour stable. The walls act as a thermal barrier, slowing the transfer of heat from the kitchen into the frozen contents. A close-fitting lid reduces air movement over the surface, cutting ice-crystal formation and preventing odour pick-up from other items in the freezer.
The operator fills the container to the marked line, levels the surface, and places the lid. Once sealed, the unit stacks with others of the same size, allowing organised storage in reach-in or roll-in freezers. When service begins, the container is removed, the lid is lifted, and a portion is scooped directly from the vessel without transferring to a second dish.
The container is formed from 0.8 mm stainless steel, giving a rigid structure that resists dents and maintains shape under repeated freezing and thawing cycles. Smooth, rolled edges eliminate sharp corners, reducing the risk of cuts during handling and making the interior easier to wipe clean after use.
The footprint of 360 by 250 mm fits standard gastronorm shelves and most professional freezer racks, while the 80 mm height keeps the centre of gravity low for safe stacking. A 5 litre capacity allows single-batch storage of typical ice cream yields without overfilling.
Cleaning follows the same routine as other stainless-steel vessels: warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth remove residue, while a sanitising rinse prepares the container for the next use. The smooth finish and absence of seams or crevices prevent trapped food particles and speed drying.
The container is supplied as a single unit without accessories or variants.
