HENDI aluminium pastry display tray 300 x 200 mm

A pastry tray holds baked goods at eye level so customers can see the colour, texture and finish without touching. The flat surface keeps pastries level, preventing icing from sliding or delicate crusts from cracking. Because the tray is open, air circulates freely around each item, helping to maintain crispness and prevent condensation that can make fillings soggy or toppings sticky.

The operator places the tray on a counter, shelf or refrigerated display case. Pastries are arranged directly on the tray, either in rows or in decorative patterns. The tray can be moved easily between preparation area, display and storage without disturbing the arrangement. When the display is finished, the tray is lifted out and the pastries are transferred or the tray itself is stored.

Made of aluminium, the tray is light enough to carry with one hand yet stiff enough to resist bending under the weight of several pastries. The metal surface reflects light, making colours appear brighter and finishes look glossier. Aluminium does not rust, resists staining from fruit acids and sugars, and can be washed repeatedly without losing its sheen.

The tray measures 300 mm by 200 mm with a rim 20 mm high. This footprint fits standard bakery display shelves and refrigerated cases, while the rim keeps pastries from sliding off during transport. The size is large enough to hold a dozen small pastries or half a dozen larger items such as tarts or cakes.

Cleaning is straightforward: after use the tray is wiped with a damp cloth to remove crumbs and residue, then washed in warm soapy water. Aluminium dries quickly, so the tray can be returned to service almost immediately. For stubborn stains a non-abrasive cleaner is used to avoid scratching the surface.
