HEUTE Politec Polar Wall-Mounted Shoe Shine Machine

A wall-mounted shoe shine machine removes dirt and restores shine to footwear without manual effort. Two motor-driven brushes rotate at a steady speed: the first brush lifts loose dirt from the surface and tread, while the second applies polish for a finished appearance. The motor draws power from the mains supply, turning the brushes continuously while the machine is active. Wall mounting keeps the unit at a comfortable working height and frees floor space at busy entrances.

Operation begins when the user steps onto the footplate and grips the bow handle. A sensor detects the presence of shoes and starts the motor; a timer then runs the cycle for a set duration. The operator holds the shoes against the rotating brushes, moving them to cover the entire surface. Once the timer expires, the motor stops automatically, ready for the next user.

The housing is powder-coated steel, chosen for resistance to weather and impact. Two brushes are fitted: one for pre-cleaning, one for polishing. A bottle of polish is supplied with the machine, and the brushes are designed to release the polish evenly as they turn. The bow handle is available in red, gentian blue or black, while the main housing is silver metallic.

Controls consist of a sensor that starts the motor and a timer that sets the running time. The 230 V motor draws 150 W, suitable for a standard single-phase circuit. The net weight of 31 kg allows the unit to be lifted by two people and secured to a solid wall with the supplied fixings. The footprint of 66 cm by 34 cm fits narrow corridors and entrance lobbies.

Regular maintenance involves cleaning the brushes to remove accumulated dirt and checking them for wear. The powder-coated finish can be wiped down with a damp cloth to keep the housing clean. An optional polish dispenser is available for sites that require continuous outdoor use.

The Politec Polar is designed for outdoor installation at building entrances, where it withstands rain, wind and temperature changes without loss of performance.
