BRONZE is the class most sites settle on once they have worked out what they actually need. Danube states that the BRONZE range offers the same standard features and capabilities as the SILVER range, but with the simpler EM electronic programmer, where time and temperature are selected with push-buttons.
In practice that means the same mechanics, the same stainless steel drum, the same airflow system and the same drying quality as the higher class — but without a touchscreen and without an internet connection. If nobody on site programmes cycles or monitors consumption remotely, there is no point paying for those functions.
The range runs from 11 to 80 kg, which covers practically any site — from a hotel laundry room to an industrial laundry.

DD-11, 14, 18, 22, 28, 35, 45, 60, 80 BRONZE EM — single pocket industrial dryers.
STD-11, 14, 18, 22 BRONZE XP EM — double dryers in the new XP generation, with more powerful motors and shorter cycle times.
BRONZE versions are also available for self-service laundries with a coiner or central payment.
Single pocket DD BRONZE EM: manual sliding door on the 45 to 80 kg models, double door glass, reverse door opening, display for the EM programmer showing time, temperature and programme, rear panel with air filter, lint filter with a 0.6 or 1.2 mm grid (0.3 mm is standard), stainless steel front panel or cabinet, low pressure steam battery, stainless steel steam battery on the 11 to 35 kg models, reduced power of 12 kW instead of 18 kW on the electric 11 and 18 kg models, natural gas version (LPG as standard).
Double STD BRONZE XP EM: double door glass, display for the EM programmer, lint filter with a 0.3 mm grid (0.6 mm is standard), stainless steel cabinet or front panel, natural gas version.
How does BRONZE differ from SILVER?
In the control. BRONZE has push-buttons for time and temperature; SILVER has a 7" touchscreen with programmable cycles and an IoT connection for remote monitoring. The mechanics, drum, airflow and drying quality are identical.
How does BRONZE differ from BASIC?
BRONZE has a stainless steel drum instead of galvanised, a skinplate cabinet, capacities up to 80 kg instead of 35 kg, and steam heating available. The control is the same on both — push-buttons.
Is it worth paying more for SILVER?
It is, if you want to programme your own cycles for specific fabrics, track consumption and faults remotely, or plan to use Care Dry moisture control. If not, BRONZE delivers the same result for less.
Can the remaining time be seen on the EM programmer?
Not in the standard version, but a display showing time, temperature and programme is available as an option. If several employees will use the machine, we recommend ordering it from the start.
Is BRONZE available with steam heating?
Yes. The single pocket DD BRONZE models are available with electric, gas or steam heating. The double STD BRONZE XP models come with electric or gas.
Is an external exhaust required?
Yes, the BRONZE range is vented. Without an exhaust, only heat pump dryers are possible.
How do I choose the capacity?
The dryer should be at least as large as the washer, ideally slightly larger — linen needs room to move freely while drying.
