How does SILVER differ from BRONZE?
In the control and the connectivity. The mechanics, the drum and the drying quality are identical, but SILVER lets you programme your own cycles, and the IoT connection lets you monitor the machine remotely.
How does SILVER differ from GOLD?
In the saving functions. In the GOLD class, Air Recycle heat recovery, insulated panels, Care Dry and Sprinkler are standard, and Danube states up to 60% energy saving compared with other dryers. In the SILVER class some of that is available as options. If the machine runs several shifts a day, GOLD pays back faster.
Does the IoT connection cost extra?
No. Danube Online connectivity is included as standard and free of charge in the SILVER class.
What does remote monitoring actually give you?
You see how many cycles have run, what the consumption is and whether the machine is reporting a fault. Service can respond sooner, and problems are often spotted before staff pick up the phone.
Can programmes be transferred to other machines?
Yes, via the USB connection. If the site has several identical dryers, the programmes only need setting up once.
Is Care Dry worth adding?
If the volume and type of linen change daily, yes — the sensor stops the cycle once the linen is dry, so nothing runs empty. If the routine is steady and the cycle times are already dialled in, the gain is smaller.
Is an external exhaust required?
Yes, the SILVER range is vented. Without an exhaust, only heat pump dryers are possible.
