A remote cold showcase preserves perishable foods at a steady chill while they are on display. The refrigeration unit is installed separately, ensuring the cabinet remains quiet and free from vibration. Cool air circulates evenly around the storage chamber, maintaining a consistent low temperature across all shelves. This static-cooling approach avoids hot spots and keeps dairy, meat, and cheese fresh without drying them out.

The operator places GN containers or trays on the stainless-steel shelves and adjusts the electronic regulator to the required temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C. The digital display shows the current temperature. Once activated, the automatic defrost cycle operates periodically, removing ice from the evaporator without manual input. An alarm alerts staff if the condenser becomes obstructed or the fan malfunctions, prompting a check of airflow.

The curved front glass opens smoothly for restocking, while the hinged rear door of the storage chamber allows access from behind. A stainless-steel worktop spans the top of the unit, offering a hygienic surface for portioning or labelling. Inside, LED lamps light the display area in white, pastry, or deep-pink meat tones, enhancing the appearance of the products. The side walls combine insulated plastic with glass panels, and the base cladding is made of white coated sheet metal. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass, providing a polished finish.

The showcase operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz supply, drawing 0.043 kW, making it suitable for a standard kitchen circuit. Its dimensions of 938 mm wide by 1155 mm deep, with an additional 10 mm clearance, allow it to fit most service counters. The height ensures customers can view products without bending.

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless-steel shelves and worktop with a damp cloth, and use a mild detergent on the glass panels and plastic side walls. The hinged rear door and openable front glass simplify access to all surfaces. The digital temperature regulator should be checked regularly to confirm it maintains the set temperature.

Optional coloured front panels and side glass are available to complement kitchen decor. The LED lamp colour can also be selected at the time of order.
