Showcase BASIA Neo REMOTE 1563 mm.
A refrigerated display showcase keeps perishable foods at a steady low temperature while presenting them to customers through clear glass. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally inside the cabinet, eliminating moving parts that could disturb delicate items like sliced meats or soft cheeses. The cooling coil sits beneath the display shelf, drawing heat downward and creating a gentle, even chill that preserves texture and flavour without drying the surface. Because there is no fan, the cabinet runs quietly and uses less energy, making it suited to open-fronted designs where noise and draughts would be unwelcome.
To load the showcase, the operator lifts the curved front glass and places GN containers of product onto the stainless-steel exhibition area. The hinged rear door of the storage chamber below gives access to extra stock, which can be held at the same temperature until needed. Once the glass is closed, the electronic regulator maintains the set point, and the automatic defrost cycle prevents ice build-up on the coil. LED lighting inside the cabinet illuminates the contents, and the colour can be chosen to enhance either pastries, general dairy or meat with a deep-pink tint.
The cabinet is built on a white-coated steel frame with anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver. The work surface and exhibition area are stainless steel, while the storage chamber is finished in white-coated steel. Insulated plastic side walls are paired with glass side panels, and the front base cladding is also white-coated sheet metal. Optional coloured sheets and panels follow the IGLOO colour guide. Ecological polyurethane foam fills the walls for thermal insulation.
The 230 V, 50 Hz supply draws 0.075 kW, allowing the unit to run on a standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens and retail counters. The footprint of 1563 mm width, 1155 mm depth and 1220 mm height, plus a 10 mm tolerance, fits into a compact service area while still providing ample display space for GN containers.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a mild detergent, removing the curved front glass to reach the interior, and occasionally defrosting the coil if the automatic cycle leaves any residue. The hinged rear door of the storage chamber allows easy access for restocking and cleaning the lower compartment.
Variants include optional coloured front panels, side glass and LED lamp colours, and the choice of gold or silver anodised aluminium profiles.
