A neutral-temperature display case keeps chilled dairy, sausages, meats and cheeses at a steady, safe holding temperature without freezing. Static cooling circulates cold air naturally from a concealed evaporator coil; the air settles in the curved glass cabinet, maintaining an even chill across every shelf. An internal cooling aggregate compresses and expands refrigerant R134a, pulling heat from the cabinet and expelling it through a condenser outlet into a container beneath the unit. Automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up on the coil, ensuring consistent cooling without manual intervention.

Loading the showcase begins with the curved front glass, which swings open on hinges. The stainless-steel exposition area holds trays and platters, while the white-coated steel storage chamber behind hinged back doors provides additional space for stock. An electronic temperature controller with a digital display lets the operator set and monitor the internal climate; an analogue thermometer offers a secondary reading. If the condenser becomes clogged or the fan fails, an audible alarm sounds. LED lamps—available in white, confectionery or deep-pink meat tones—illuminate the contents, drawing attention to colours and textures.

The cabinet body is constructed from white-coated sheet metal with a side base flashing for service access. Front panels and base sheets are also colour-coated, with finishes selected from the IGLOO colour chart. Insulated plastic side walls and glass side panels come in matching or contrasting hues, while anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the curved glass. Ecological polyurethane foam fills the walls, reducing heat transfer. A stainless-steel worktop provides a durable surface for preparation or additional display. Bumpers in various colours protect the unit from impacts.

A 230 V, 50 Hz power supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 0.16 kWh to maintain temperature. The footprint of 1340 mm wide, 1155 mm deep and 1220 mm high, plus a 10 mm tolerance, fits into most counter layouts. The neutral temperature range keeps products chilled but not frozen, extending shelf life while preserving texture and flavour.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel worktop and exposition area with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The curved glass should be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to avoid scratches. The storage chamber's hinged back doors allow access for wiping down the white-coated steel interior. The condenser outlet container must be emptied regularly to prevent overflow, and the electronic controller's display should be kept free of dust for accurate readings.
