Hot showcase-marmite BEMAR 1500mm. Temperature range +30/+90ºC
A hot display case keeps prepared dishes at serving temperature while presenting them to customers under glass. The unit circulates warm air around gastronorm (GN) containers, preventing hot spots and ensuring even heat distribution. A built-in fan draws air over heating elements and directs it across the food, maintaining consistent warmth without drying or overcooking. The transparent top and front allow diners to view the dishes while protecting them from airborne contaminants and temperature fluctuations in the dining area.
To use the BEMAR G 1500 mm, position the unit on a level, stable surface near a 230 V power outlet. Place GN containers filled with pre-cooked dishes onto the adjustable shelf inside the storage chamber. Set the desired temperature between 30 °C and 90 °C using the electronic controller with digital display. The LED internal top illumination switches on automatically, highlighting the dishes. The ventilated dynamic cooling system starts, circulating warm air evenly. The hinged back doors allow staff to access the chamber for replenishing or rearranging containers without interrupting service.
The outer casing is made of steel, while the front panel combines a wooden melamine finish with a stainless steel or mirrored strip, available in multiple colours from the IGLOO pattern book. The worktop is granite grey, 30 mm thick and 800 mm deep, providing a durable surface for additional plating or utensils. The glass top features a straight front glass panel, and the frame is prepared for standard GN containers. The storage chamber is lined with white-coated steel and includes an adjustable shelf. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation minimises heat loss, reducing energy consumption.
The electronic temperature controller with digital display allows precise adjustments, ensuring dishes remain at the correct temperature for extended periods. An automatic defrost function prevents ice build-up, while automatic condenser vaporisation eliminates the need for manual drainage. The unit includes alarms for condenser impurity or fan operation failure, alerting staff to maintenance needs before performance is affected.
The 1500 mm width accommodates multiple GN containers side by side, maximising display space in high-traffic areas such as restaurants, bars, or service stations. The 140 kg weight requires a sturdy floor and may need two people to move safely. The 230 V, 50 Hz voltage requirement matches standard UK commercial circuits, allowing straightforward installation without specialised wiring. The 19.3 kWh/24h power rating reflects continuous operation, typical for equipment that maintains food at serving temperature throughout service hours.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass top and front daily with a damp cloth to maintain visibility. The granite worktop can be sanitised with standard kitchen cleaners. The hinged back doors and adjustable shelf allow access to the storage chamber for thorough cleaning. The automatic defrost and condenser vaporisation systems reduce manual upkeep, though the condenser should be checked periodically for dust or debris that could impede airflow.
The BEMAR G 1500 mm is categorised under hot display cases in the IGLOO GASTROLINE range, designed for front-of-house use where presentation and temperature control are critical.
