Confectionery showcase PARIS Z 3170 mm, Temperature range +4/+10ºC
A confectionery showcase keeps delicate pastries, chocolates and desserts at a steady cool temperature while presenting them through clear glass. The refrigeration system circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots that could spoil texture or appearance. A fan draws air over an evaporator coil chilled by the R290 refrigerant; the cooled air then flows through ducts behind the display, dropping the temperature to the set point and removing excess moisture that would fog the glass. Automatic defrost cycles melt any frost on the coil without manual intervention, and the melted water is evaporated by the condenser so no tray needs emptying. LED lighting inside the cabinet highlights colours and details without adding heat, while the straight front glass tilts open for easy restocking.
To start the showcase, plug it into a 230 V supply, set the electronic regulator to the desired temperature between +4 °C and +10 °C, and allow the unit to pull down. Once the display is cold, arrange the confectionery on the shelves; the sliding rear door gives access from the worktop side. The digital display shows the current temperature, and a sound signal alerts staff if the condenser needs cleaning. The melamine storage area beneath the display holds trays or packaging, while the stainless-steel work surface provides a hygienic space for portioning or plating.
The outer casing is powder-coated steel for durability, and the edges are melamine for a seamless finish. Insulation is ecological polyurethane foam, reducing energy use while maintaining temperature stability. The base plinth combines stainless steel and melamine, supporting the weight of the unit and allowing it to slide into position without scratching floors. Fans inside the cabinet circulate air continuously, ensuring every shelf stays within the chosen range.
Cleaning follows from the materials: wipe the stainless-steel work surface and inox plinth with a damp cloth and mild detergent, clean the glass with a non-abrasive glass cleaner, and dust the condenser coil at the intervals the sound signal indicates. The melamine storage area and edges can be wiped with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the surface. The sliding rear door and tilting front glass should be cleaned regularly to maintain visibility and hygiene.
The PARIS 3.13 Z is a single module in the PARIS range; additional modules can be added to extend the display length without gaps or mismatched heights. Each module shares the same temperature control, lighting and construction, allowing a seamless run of showcases along a wall or counter.
