Confectionery display case CUBE OPEN 1310 mm REMOTE. Temperature range +5ºC/+15ºC
A warm showcase keeps confectionery and delicate baked goods at serving temperature without drying or spoiling. The unit circulates air gently with a fan, distributing warmth evenly around each item. This dynamic cooling prevents hot spots and condensation, so pastries, chocolates and desserts stay fresh and visually appealing for hours. The temperature range of +5 to +15 °C is chosen to hold products just above refrigeration, preserving texture and flavour while keeping them ready for sale or plating. An external aggregate handles the refrigeration cycle, removing heat from the cabinet and releasing it outside the work area, which keeps the kitchen cooler and reduces the load on the internal fan system. To use the showcase, the operator first sets the desired temperature on the electronic controller. The digital display confirms the setting and shows the current cabinet temperature. Once the unit reaches the target, the operator loads the three adjustable glass shelves with products. Each shelf can be tilted or raised to highlight specific items, and LED strips above and below each shelf illuminate the display in a warm confectionery colour. A low front glass screen protects the products from draughts while allowing customers to view them clearly. The wooden melamine bottom shelf provides a contrasting base and can be matched to the front panel colour from the IGLOO pattern book. Automatic defrost and condenser vaporisation run in the background, so the showcase requires no manual intervention during service. The exterior is built from black coated steel, with side panels in the same finish. Glass side panels or a combined glass divider allow the unit to be linked with others for a continuous display. Inside, the frame is painted silver, gold or black, and the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam. The power requirement of 0.715 kW is typical for a unit of this size and temperature range, drawing a steady load on a 230 V single-phase circuit. The footprint of 1310 mm wide by 835 mm deep fits standard worktop depths and allows the showcase to be positioned against a wall or island. The black-coated steel housing and melamine panels wipe clean with a damp cloth after each service, keeping the showcase spotless without scrubbing. The glass shelves and side panels lift out for washing in warm soapy water. The internal frame and wooden melamine surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth, while the black coated steel exterior can be polished with a mild detergent. The LED lighting strips are sealed and require no maintenance beyond occasional dusting. The external aggregate should be checked periodically for dust build-up and cleaned with a soft brush to maintain airflow. The CUBE OPEN2 1310 mm is part of IGLOO's modular range, allowing multiple units to be connected side by side. The front panel and internal frame colours can be customised from the IGLOO pattern book to match a kitchen's decor. This model is categorised as a warm showcase in the IGLOO confectionery display range.
