IGLOO CUBE OPEN2 610 mm Warm Confectionery Showcase

A ventilated warm showcase keeps confectionery at serving temperature without drying or condensation. A small fan circulates air gently across the shelves, distributing warmth evenly from a heating element located outside the display area. Because the heating element is external, the interior stays clean and uncluttered, and the showcase can be positioned against a wall or island without blocking airflow.

The operator loads the three adjustable glass shelves with product, then sets the electronic controller to the desired temperature between +5 °C and +15 °C. LED strips above and beneath each shelf switch on automatically, casting a soft confectionery-coloured light that enhances colour and gloss. A low front glass screen protects the display from draughts while allowing customers an unobstructed view. The external aggregate, mounted separately, houses the compressor and condenser, keeping noise and vibration away from the sales floor. Automatic defrost cycles clear any frost build-up without manual intervention, and the condenser drains vapour outside the unit, eliminating the need for a drip tray inside.

The showcase is built on a black-coated steel frame and side panels, with a wooden melamine front panel available in several finishes from the IGLOO pattern book. Glass side panels or a combined glass divider allow multiple units to be linked side by side. Inside, the frame is painted silver, gold or black to match the chosen front panel, and the wooden melamine bottom shelf provides a contrasting base for the glass shelves above. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation minimises heat loss, reducing the load on the 0.309 kW heating element and keeping running costs low.

A 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase supply powers the showcase, fan, lighting and controller. The 610 mm width, 835 mm depth and 1250 mm height fit a standard worktop or counter, and the external aggregate can be placed up to several metres away, freeing space beneath the unit. The three glass shelves adjust in height and angle, allowing the operator to create tiers or flat displays as needed. Each shelf is illuminated by its own LED strip, ensuring even lighting across every level.

Cleaning follows from the construction: the glass shelves lift out for washing, the melamine surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the coated steel exterior resists fingerprints and smudges. The automatic defrost and condenser vapourisation eliminate manual defrosting and emptying of trays, reducing daily upkeep. The LED lighting, with no filaments or tubes, requires no bulb changes during the life of the showcase.
