Once the temperature is set on the electronic regulator, the showcase maintains the range automatically. An internal sensor triggers defrost cycles, melting any frost that forms on the evaporator coils and draining the water away without manual intervention. The condenser fan runs continuously, expelling heat outside the cabinet and keeping the interior stable. If the fan fails or the condenser becomes blocked, an alarm sounds to alert staff.

The electronic temperature regulator displays the current temperature on a digital screen and allows the operator to set the desired range between 4 °C and 6 °C. Its footprint of 1500 mm by 1050 mm leaves enough aisle space for customers to move around while still offering ample display area. Cleaning follows from the construction: the smooth coated steel and laminate surfaces wipe down quickly, and the shelves can be removed for deeper cleaning. The automatic defrost system eliminates the need to manually scrape ice, and the condenser fan's alarm helps prevent dust build-up that would reduce efficiency. The refrigerant system is compatible with R448 A and R449 A, both of which are low-global-warming alternatives to older refrigerants.
