Hot showcase PIZZA BAR 900mm. Temperature range +40/+65ºC
A ventilated hot showcase maintains prepared dishes at serving temperature without drying them out. A low-speed fan circulates warm air evenly around the cabinet, while a thermostat holds the temperature steady between 40 and 65 °C. This method keeps pizzas, pastries and plated meals ready for service without overcooking or losing moisture.
The operator loads the dishes onto the wire shelves inside the cabinet. A front glass panel slides open for access, then closes to retain heat. The thermostat is set to the desired temperature within the 40–65 °C range. Once the unit is plugged into a 230 V single-phase supply, the fan and heating element start automatically. Internal lighting illuminates the contents, making them visible to customers. A removable drawer at the base holds up to 3 litres of hot water, which adds humidity to the circulating air and helps prevent drying.
The outer casing and inner liner are made of painted steel for durability and ease of cleaning. The front, sides and top are finished in a smooth, wipe-clean surface. Shelves and the water drawer are also steel, designed to withstand daily use in a busy kitchen.
A single rotary control on the side panel sets the temperature. The range of 40 to 65 °C covers holding temperatures for most hot dishes, from crisp pizzas to sauced pasta and plated meals.
The 900 mm width allows the unit to sit on a standard worktop or counter, taking up 550 mm of depth. The overall height of 690 mm plus a 10 mm clearance fits under most overhead cupboards. A voltage requirement of 230 V single-phase matches the standard supply in professional kitchens, so no special circuit is needed.
Cleaning is straightforward: the glass front slides out for washing, shelves lift off, and the water drawer empties and wipes clean. The painted steel surfaces resist stains and can be sanitised with standard kitchen cleaners.
The showcase is supplied as a single 900 mm-wide unit. No variants or additional modules are listed for this model.
Designed for front-of-house display, the Pizza Bar sits in the IGLOO hot-holding section of the catalogue, alongside heated counters and pass-through cabinets.
