Confectionery showcase INNOVA 1000mm, H-1100, Temperature range +2ºC/+15ºC
A refrigerated confectionery showcase keeps delicate pastries, cakes and chocolates at a steady cool temperature while displaying them under bright, even light. The unit draws heat out of the interior with a refrigeration cycle that circulates a low-global-warming refrigerant. A fan moves the cooled air across the shelves, preventing hot spots and ensuring every item stays within the safe temperature band. The showcase is not a freezer; it maintains a gentle chill just above freezing, so textures and flavours remain fresh without freezing the product or drying it out.
To load the INNOVA 100.110, the operator unlocks the electromagnetic catch and slides the front glass panel smoothly back into its housing. The shelves, made of clear tempered glass, can be set at different heights and angles to suit the size and shape of the confectionery. Once the items are arranged, the glass is closed and the digital controller is set to the desired temperature between +2 °C and +15 °C. The internal LED strips along the top and front frame switch on automatically, illuminating the display without adding heat. A second set of LEDs inside the top frame ensures the light reaches every corner. The back of the unit has sliding glass doors that open from either side, giving access for restocking without disturbing the front presentation.
The INNOVA 100.110 is built on a coated-steel chassis with a stainless-steel kick plinth and bottom shelf. The external panels and worktop are made of solid wood in a choice of finishes from the IGLOO pattern book, allowing the unit to match the décor of the café or patisserie. The internal frame is powder-coated in a complementary colour, and the glass elements are double-glazed with argon filling and a black silkscreen border for a sleek look. An electronic temperature controller with a digital display shows the current setting and alerts the operator if the condenser becomes blocked or the fan fails.
The 230 V, 50 Hz power supply plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, and the 7.7 kWh daily energy consumption reflects the unit's size and the need to maintain a stable temperature in a busy shop. The 1000 mm width, 850 mm depth and 1100 mm height give a generous display area while fitting through standard doorways and under most worktop overhangs. The weight of the unit means it is moved on castors or a trolley, and the stainless-steel kick plinth protects the base from bumps during service.
Cleaning is straightforward: the glass shelves lift off the frame for washing, the stainless-steel bottom shelf wipes clean, and the wooden worktop can be polished with food-safe products. The automatic defrost cycle prevents ice build-up, and the condenser vapourises any moisture that collects, so there is no tray to empty. The removable side and rear panels allow access to the refrigeration components for servicing.
The INNOVA 100.110 is part of IGLOO's INNOVA pastry-display series and can be linked side by side with other INNOVA modules to create a continuous run of refrigerated display. The retractable front glass system is unique to the INNOVA line, and the choice of external wood finishes and internal frame colours lets each unit be customised to the shop's colour scheme.
In the IGLOO catalogue the INNOVA 100.110 is listed under refrigerated confectionery showcases, plug-in models.
