Confectionery showcase INNOVA NZ45.140 Outer corner. Temperature range +2ºC/+15ºC
A refrigerated confectionery showcase keeps delicate pastries, cakes and desserts at a precise chilled temperature while presenting them under bright, even lighting. The unit draws heat from the display cavity with a cooling aggregate and circulates cold air dynamically so that every shelf stays within a narrow temperature band. Automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up without manual intervention, ensuring the interior remains clear and the products stay visible at all times.
The INNOVA NZ45.140 opens with a retractable front glass panel that slides smoothly out of the way, giving staff quick access to the entire display without lifting a hinged door. An electromagnetic lock secures the glass when closed, protecting the contents while maintaining a sleek, unbroken front. Once the glass is retracted, the operator loads or rearranges the confectionery on the adjustable glass shelves, which can be set at different heights and angles to create an attractive tiered presentation. The back of the unit is fitted with sliding glass doors, allowing access from the rear for restocking or cleaning without disturbing the front display.
To operate the showcase, the user sets the desired temperature on the electronic controller's digital display. The unit then maintains that temperature automatically, with an alarm sounding if the condenser becomes blocked or the fan fails. LED strips along the top and front frame illuminate the interior, highlighting the colours and textures of the confectionery. When the display is ready, the glass front is closed and locked, and the showcase continues to run with minimal supervision.
The INNOVA NZ45.140 is constructed with a combination of materials chosen for durability and aesthetics. The external glass panels are double-glazed with argon filling and a black silkscreen finish, available in white or grey RAL7042. Wooden elements, including the top worktop and external frames, come in a range of colours from the IGLOO pattern book, allowing the unit to match the decor of the shop or café. The internal frame is painted in a complementary colour, while the bottom shelf and kick plinth are made of stainless steel for easy cleaning. The housing and base on the staff side are coated steel, also available in various colours.
The electronic temperature controller lets the operator set a display temperature between +2 and +15 °C, suitable for a wide range of confectionery without freezing delicate items. The 230 V, 50 Hz power supply is standard for UK commercial kitchens, and the 9.8 kWh/24h energy consumption reflects the unit's continuous operation in a busy environment. The overall footprint of 1350 mm wide, 850 mm deep and 1400 mm high allows the showcase to fit into most retail or café layouts, either as a standalone unit or combined with other INNOVA modules to create a larger display.
Cleaning the INNOVA NZ45.140 involves removing the glass shelves and wiping them down, along with the stainless steel bottom shelf and kick plinth. The glass front and sliding back doors can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner, while the wooden and painted surfaces are wiped with a damp cloth. The automatic condenser vaporisation system reduces the need for manual maintenance, though the condenser should be checked periodically for dust or debris.
The INNOVA NZ45.140 is part of IGLOO's INNOVA pastry display series, designed for professional confectionery presentation. It is available in various colour finishes for the wooden and painted elements, allowing customisation to suit the shop's aesthetic. The unit can be used as a standalone module or combined with other INNOVA showcases to create a larger, multiplexed display.
