IGLOO JAMAJKA Open 610 mm Warm Confectionery Showcase

A warm showcase keeps confectionery at serving temperature without drying it out. The JAMAJKA Open circulates air gently through the cabinet, driven by a quiet fan in the external remote unit. This ventilated cooling spreads an even warmth across every shelf, so cakes and cookies stay fresh and moist for hours. The temperature stays between +5 and +15 °C, warm enough to keep fillings soft and glazes glossy, yet cool enough to prevent spoilage during service.

The operator loads the shelves from the front, sliding trays of pastries into place. An electronic regulator on the side sets the exact temperature; the digital display shows the current reading. Once the unit is switched on, the fan starts and the LED lighting illuminates each shelf in a soft pastry colour. The sliding rear door gives access to the lower wooden shelf for bulk storage or staging. Automatic defrost cycles run without intervention, keeping the airflow clear.

The outer case is built from solid wood, available in several finishes to match the shop décor. Side panels can be wood, glass or a combination, and the inner frame is painted silver, gold or black. Three glass shelves adjust in height and angle, letting the operator arrange tall layer cakes or flat trays of biscuits. A low front glass screen protects the display while keeping it visible. Environmentally friendly polyurethane foam insulates the cabinet, reducing the load on the 51 W compressor.

The 230 V, 50 Hz supply plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, drawing a light load that leaves capacity for other equipment. The 610 mm width fits a standard worktop or counter, while the 865 mm depth gives ample shelf space for a full day's stock. The 1370 mm height allows eye-level display without blocking sightlines across the shop. The external remote unit keeps noise and heat away from the serving area.

Cleaning follows the materials: wipe the wooden case and shelves with a damp cloth, clean the glass with a non-abrasive solution, and dust the LED fittings with a soft brush. The sliding rear door lifts off for thorough access. The automatic defrost system removes condensate without manual draining.

Variants include different door styles—sliding or hinged—and the option to choose the direction the hinged door opens. The remote cooling unit is standard on this model, so no internal compressor occupies shelf space.
