Confectionery display case JAMAIKA Open 910 mm REMOTE, Self-service. Temperature range +5ºC/+15ºC
A warm showcase keeps delicate confectionery at serving temperature without drying it out. The JAMAJKA Open uses a remote refrigeration unit to circulate cooled air evenly across every shelf. A fan draws air from the display area, passes it over an evaporator coil, and returns it at the set temperature. This ventilated flow prevents hot spots and maintains steady humidity, so cakes and cookies stay fresh for hours while remaining visible to customers.
The operator loads the three adjustable glass shelves with trays of pastries, then sets the electronic regulator between +5 °C and +15 °C. LED lighting above and on each shelf switches on automatically, casting a warm tone that enhances the appearance of the products. The lower wooden shelf provides additional display space or can hold a till or promotional materials. A hinged rear door slides open for restocking, while a low front glass screen protects the goods without blocking the view.
The outer case and side panels are crafted in wood, available in several colours to match the shop's decor. Inside, the frame is finished in silver, gold or black to complement the display. Environmentally friendly polyurethane foam insulation lines the walls, reducing energy use while keeping the interior climate stable. An automatic defrost cycle removes ice from the evaporator coil without manual intervention.
The showcase measures 910 mm wide, 865 mm deep and 1370 mm high, with an extra 10 mm tolerance. It requires a 230 V, 50 Hz supply and draws 78 W, making it suitable for a standard single-phase circuit. The weight allows it to be moved on a trolley during shop refits, while the footprint fits neatly against a counter or island display.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass shelves and front screen with a damp cloth, and dusting the wooden surfaces with a soft brush. The rear door and side panels lift off for deeper cleaning, and the LED strips can be removed without tools for bulb replacement. The electronic regulator's digital display guides the operator through any error codes, and the remote refrigeration unit simplifies maintenance by keeping the compressor and condenser outside the shop.
Variants include different wood finishes, frame colours and the option of glass or combined glass-and-wood side panels for multiplexed installations. The JAMAJKA Open is categorised under professional warm showcases for confectionery.
