Cold showcase KING EVO REMOTE 1230 mm. Temperature range +1ºC/+10ºC
A refrigerated display showcase keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. An external remote unit circulates refrigerant through the cabinet's evaporator coil. A fan draws warm air over the coil, cooling it before pushing it back into the display area. This dynamic, ventilated cooling ensures even temperatures throughout the cabinet, preventing hot spots and condensation that could spoil food or blur the glass panels.
The operator loads the shelves with chilled products, sets the desired temperature on the electronic regulator, and switches on the LED lighting. The automatic defrost cycle runs at intervals, melting any frost on the coil without manual intervention. A built-in condensate pump removes the water, allowing it to be piped away up to 0.6 m above the unit. Night blinds can be drawn to reduce energy use when the kitchen is closed, and the automatic temperature regulator maintains the set range without further adjustment.
The cabinet is constructed with environmentally friendly polyurethane foam insulation sandwiched between coated steel panels. The front lower panel and interior shelves are finished in coated steel, available in various colours. The open top panel houses LED lighting, with organic glass options for colour accents. Six adjustable display shelves allow height and angle changes, and a bottom basic shelf provides additional storage. A PETG plastic fence keeps goods neatly in place, while price strips in different colours help organise products.
Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display, allowing precise setting of the temperature range from +1 °C to +10 °C. The unit operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz supply, suitable for standard UK commercial circuits. The remote-powered design means the external unit handles the cooling load, reducing noise and heat within the kitchen space.
The footprint of 1230 mm wide, 700 mm deep, and 2015 mm high fits into most professional kitchen layouts, offering a balance between display area and floor space. The reduced depth of the showcase itself, combined with deeper shelves, maximises product visibility while minimising the unit's overall size. Optional roller blinds or doors—sliding or opening—can be fitted or changed after installation to suit operational needs.
Cleaning involves wiping down the coated steel interior and shelves, removing the PETG fence for thorough washing, and ensuring the condensate pump outlet remains clear. The LED lighting and organic glass panels should be cleaned with a soft cloth to avoid scratches.
Variants include different colours for the coated steel panels, organic glass, and price strips, as well as choices for LED lighting colour—white, pastry, or pink—to match the kitchen's aesthetic or highlight specific products.
