A refrigerated showcase keeps chilled air circulating around displayed food, maintaining a steady temperature while allowing clear visibility. The remote refrigeration unit draws heat away from the cabinet and expels it outside, reducing noise and heat inside the kitchen. A fan inside the showcase moves the cooled air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and ensuring consistent freshness without drying the products. This method is quieter and more energy-efficient than built-in units, as the compressor and condenser are located away from the display area, freeing up space and reducing maintenance near the food zone.

The operator loads the shelves with prepared dishes or ingredients, then sets the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C using the electronic regulator. The digital display confirms the setting, and the showcase automatically maintains the chosen level. LED lighting illuminates the interior, with options for white, pastry or pink tones to enhance the appearance of different foods. Night blinds can be drawn to reduce energy use when the kitchen is closed. Automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up, and a condensate pump removes melted water, eliminating manual drainage up to a height of 0.6 metres.

The cabinet measures 3750 mm long, 700 mm wide and 2015 mm high, with a coated steel front panel available in various colours. The top panel is open, fitted with LED lighting, and can be glazed with organic glass in different colours. Inside, six adjustable display shelves and a fixed bottom shelf are made of coated steel, allowing height and angle changes to suit different products. A PETG plastic fence keeps items secure on the shelves, and price strips in various colours help organise displays. The insulation is environmentally friendly polyurethane foam, reducing energy loss while maintaining temperature stability.

Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display, allowing precise adjustments within the +1 °C to +10 °C range. The showcase operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz electrical supply, suitable for standard UK commercial circuits. The remote refrigeration system uses a mechanical valve compatible with refrigerants R448 A, R449 A, R450 A, R407F, R404 A, R507 or R452, offering flexibility for different environmental and operational requirements.

Cleaning involves wiping the coated steel shelves and interior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The PETG fence and price strips can be removed for thorough cleaning. The LED lighting requires no maintenance beyond occasional dusting, and the automatic defrost and condensate pump reduce manual upkeep. Night blinds should be cleaned periodically to maintain smooth operation.
