The LUZON 1.25 keeps perishable items visible and accessible while maintaining a steady chilled environment, allowing customers to browse and select without staff assistance. Cold showcases of this type rely on static cooling: a refrigerant circulates through evaporator coils inside the unit, absorbing heat from the air. The cooled air settles naturally, creating an even temperature layer across the display area. Because there is no forced fan circulation, the system avoids drying out delicate items like cured meats or soft cheeses, preserving their texture and appearance. The refrigerant used here is a blend of R314a and R290, chosen for its balance of cooling efficiency and lower environmental impact. To use the showcase, staff load products onto the stainless steel display shelf, arranging them for maximum visibility. The hinged rear door of the storage chamber below provides access to additional stock, keeping the display area fully stocked without interrupting service. An electronic temperature regulator with a digital display allows precise setting of the internal temperature, which can be adjusted between +1 °C and +10 °C to suit different types of produce. Once set, the unit maintains the chosen temperature automatically, including a defrost cycle that prevents ice build-up on the coils without manual intervention. The construction combines durability with modular flexibility. The main case is insulated with ecological polyurethane foam, reducing energy loss while maintaining consistent cooling. The exterior is finished in white coated sheet metal, with optional coloured panels available to match shop branding. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the unit, providing both structural support and a decorative finish. The work surface and display area are made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. LED lighting is fitted above the display, with options for white, pastry or meat-specific deep pink tones to enhance the appearance of different products. The footprint of 1250 mm wide, 1180 mm deep and 1230 mm high allows the showcase to fit into standard shop layouts, while the 10 mm tolerance ensures seamless alignment when units are joined side by side. This modular design means multiple LUZON showcases can be linked to create continuous display lines, adapting to the shape and size of the retail space. The voltage requirement of 230 V at 50 Hz matches the standard single-phase supply used in British commercial kitchens and shops, allowing straightforward installation without the need for special wiring. Stainless-steel shelves and white-coated steel walls wipe clean in seconds, keeping the showcase spotless between health inspections. The stainless steel surfaces can be wiped down with standard food-safe sanitising solutions, while the hinged rear door allows access to the storage chamber for thorough cleaning. The LED strips are encased behind shatterproof lenses, so grease splatters and hose-downs never reach the diodes. The static cooling system has no filters or fans, reducing the number of components that need regular attention.
