Cold showcase LUZON REMOTE 2500 mm. Temperature range +1ºC/+10ºC
A static-cooled display case keeps perishable goods at a steady chilled temperature by circulating cold air naturally across the shelves. The absence of a fan reduces noise and vibration, making it quieter for self-service areas where customers browse without assistance. Cold air settles at the bottom of the unit, creating a gentle gradient that preserves the texture and colour of fresh meat, cheese and fish while keeping them within the safe range of +1 to +10 °C.
The operator loads the product onto the stainless steel shelves at the front of the showcase. An electronic temperature regulator with a digital display allows precise setting of the desired temperature, which the unit then maintains automatically. Automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up on the evaporator, ensuring consistent cooling without manual intervention. LED lighting illuminates the display area, with optional colour temperatures available to enhance the appearance of pastries, meat or general produce.
The LUZON 2.50 REMOTE is constructed with a stainless steel worktop and exhibition area, providing a durable and hygienic surface for food presentation. The storage chamber behind the display is made of white coated steel, while the exterior base cladding is finished in white coated sheet metal. Front base sheets and panels can be specified in a colour from the IGLOO guide, allowing the unit to match the décor of the premises. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the display, adding a decorative finish that also protects the edges of the unit.
The showcase measures 2500 mm in length, 1180 mm in width and 1230 mm in height, with an additional 10 mm tolerance. This footprint allows it to fit into standard retail layouts while providing ample display space. The 230 V, 50 Hz electrical requirement means it can be connected to a standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens and retail environments.
Modular design features internal and external corner units, enabling the showcase to be arranged in continuous lines or custom configurations to suit the available space. The rear door of the storage chamber is hinged for easy access, except on corner units where the design omits this feature to maintain a seamless appearance.
Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless steel surfaces with a mild detergent to remove fingerprints and spills. The LED lighting and electronic controls require no regular maintenance beyond occasional dusting. The static cooling system eliminates the need for fan cleaning, reducing upkeep compared to forced-air models.
Optional features include coloured front panels and LED lighting in white, pastry or meat-specific shades, allowing the showcase to be tailored to the type of product displayed.
