IGLOO LUZON DEEP 0.94 Refrigerated Display Case for Self-Service

A refrigerated display case keeps perishable goods at a steady chill while presenting them through clear glass to customers. The LUZON DEEP 0.94 uses a ventilated cooling system: a fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and ice build-up. This dynamic cooling ensures that meats, cheeses, fish and other sensitive items stay fresh longer and look their best under the showcase lights.

To load the case, the operator opens the hinged back doors of the storage chamber, places the products on the coated-steel shelves, then closes the doors. The electronic controller is set to the desired temperature between 1 and 10 °C; the digital display shows the current reading. Once the case is powered on, the internal cooling aggregate starts, the fan engages, and the LED lamps illuminate the display area. The automatic defrost cycle runs periodically to keep the evaporator free of frost without manual intervention. A built-in alarm sounds if the condenser becomes clogged or the fan stops, alerting staff to check the unit.

The body is constructed from white-coated sheet metal with a stainless-steel worktop. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the straight front glass pane, which can be opened slightly for cleaning. The entire unit stands on a service-side base flashing that protects the floor and allows easy access for maintenance. Inside, the storage chamber and exposition area are lined with the same white-coated steel, and the polyurethane foam insulation keeps the cold in and energy use low. A removable container collects condensate from the condenser outlet, preventing spills on the floor.

The 230 V, 50 Hz supply plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, making installation straightforward in most professional kitchens and retail spaces. The footprint of 1020 mm wide by 1180 mm deep by 1220 mm high, plus a 10 mm tolerance, fits into modular lines that can be extended with matching corner units to suit any floor plan. The R290 refrigerant is a hydrocarbon with low global-warming potential, chosen for its efficiency and environmental profile.

Cleaning is organised around the parts the case exposes. The stainless-steel worktop and coated-steel shelves wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The straight front glass pane can be opened slightly to reach the interior surfaces; the hinged back doors allow access to the storage chamber. The anodised aluminium profiles and the bumper, available in different colours, are also wiped clean. The condenser outlet container should be emptied regularly to prevent overflow, and the fan guard checked for dust build-up.
