A refrigerated display showcase keeps perishable goods chilled while presenting them to customers through clear glass. The LUZON DEEP 1.25 uses a ventilated cooling system that circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and ensuring consistent temperatures from the top to the bottom. This dynamic cooling method allows the unit to recover quickly after the door is opened, maintaining the set range without fluctuations that could shorten the shelf life of meats, cheeses or fish.

To operate the showcase, the user sets the desired temperature on the electronic controller, which displays the current reading on a digital screen. The automatic defrost cycle runs periodically, melting any frost that forms on the evaporator without manual intervention. LED lighting inside the cabinet illuminates the products, with a choice of white, confectionery or pink tones to enhance the appearance of different foods. The straight front glass can be opened slightly for cleaning or restocking, while the hinged back doors of the storage chamber provide full access from the service side.

The body is constructed from white coated steel, insulated with ecological polyurethane foam to minimise heat transfer. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass and support the stainless-steel worktop, which provides a durable surface for preparation or additional storage. The condenser outlet directs waste heat to a container, preventing it from warming the surrounding area. A bumper in a matching or contrasting colour protects the unit from trolley impacts, and an alarm alerts staff if the condenser becomes blocked or the fan fails.

The LUZON DEEP 1.25 measures 1330 mm wide, 1180 mm deep and 1220 mm high, with an additional 10 mm tolerance. It operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz supply, suitable for standard UK commercial circuits. The refrigerant R290 is a hydrocarbon with low global warming potential, reducing environmental impact while maintaining efficient cooling performance.

Modular design allows multiple units to be joined with internal and external corner pieces, creating continuous display lines tailored to the layout of the premises. The showcase is configured for self-service, enabling customers to view and select products without staff assistance. Cleaning involves wiping the coated steel surfaces, removing the glass pane for thorough washing, and vacuuming the condenser coils to maintain airflow. The LED lamps are long-lasting and require replacement only after extended use.
