IGLOO LUZON DEEP 1.25 Remote Cold Showcase for Self-Service Display

A remote-powered cold showcase keeps perishable goods chilled while presenting them openly to customers. The external refrigeration unit circulates cold air through ducts into the display case, where a fan distributes it evenly across every shelf. This ventilated cooling system maintains a steady temperature throughout the cabinet, preventing warm spots that could spoil meat, cheese or fish. Because the compressor and condenser sit outside the shop floor, the showcase itself stays quieter and cooler, freeing up space behind the counter for other equipment.

The operator loads the product onto the white-coated steel shelves inside the glass-fronted cabinet. An electronic regulator with a digital display lets the user set the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C, matching the needs of different food types. Once set, the system automatically defrosts at intervals, melting any ice build-up without manual intervention. LED lighting inside the case illuminates the goods; the colour of the LEDs can be chosen to enhance the appearance of pastries, meat or general produce. The straight front glass can be opened slightly for cleaning or restocking, while the hinged rear door of the storage chamber allows access from behind the unit.

The LUZON DEEP 1.25 is built on a frame of anodised aluminium profiles, available in gold or silver finishes. The exterior cladding is white-coated sheet metal, with optional coloured front panels to match shop décor. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation fills the walls, reducing energy loss. A stainless-steel worktop runs along the top of the unit, providing a durable surface for additional display or preparation. Bumpers in various colours protect the corners and can be coordinated with the rest of the shop's fittings.

The showcase measures 1250 mm wide, 1180 mm deep and 1230 mm high, with an additional 10 mm tolerance on each dimension. It operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz electrical supply, plugging into a standard single-phase circuit. The remote refrigeration unit uses one of the listed refrigerants—R404a, R507, R448 or R449—chosen at installation to suit the external aggregate.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel worktop and white-coated steel interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The glass front can be cleaned with standard glass cleaner, and the hinged rear door allows access to the storage chamber for thorough cleaning. The LED lighting and electronic regulator require no regular maintenance beyond occasional dusting.

The LUZON DEEP series is designed for modular installation, with internal and external corner units that allow the showcase to be arranged in continuous lines or L-shapes, adapting to the layout of the shop floor. Optional accessories include coloured front panels, different LED colours and bumper finishes, all selected from the IGLOO pattern book.
