IGLOO LUZON DEEP 1.56 Refrigerated Display Case for Self-Service

A refrigerated display case keeps perishable goods at a steady low temperature while presenting them through clear glass to customers. The LUZON DEEP 1.56 uses a sealed cooling circuit charged with R290, a refrigerant that absorbs heat from the interior and releases it outside. A fan circulates the chilled air evenly across the shelves, preventing warm spots and ensuring every item stays within the set range. This dynamic cooling method allows the case to recover quickly after the door is opened or new stock is added, maintaining consistent conditions without manual intervention.

To use the case, the operator loads products onto the white-coated steel shelves inside the storage chamber. The hinged back doors allow easy access from the service side. The electronic controller is set to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C, and the digital display confirms the setting. Once powered, the unit begins cooling automatically, with the LED lighting illuminating the display area. The straight front glass can be slightly opened for cleaning or restocking without interrupting the cooling cycle. An automatic defrost programme removes ice build-up from the evaporator, and the melted water drains into a container at the condenser outlet.

The body is constructed from white-coated sheet metal with a stainless-steel worktop, providing a durable and hygienic surface. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass, and a coloured bumper protects the base. The interior walls and shelves are also white-coated steel, while the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam. The LED lamp, available in white, confectionery or pink, highlights the products without generating excess heat.

The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement matches a standard single-phase circuit, allowing the case to be installed in most professional kitchens or retail spaces. The footprint of 1645 mm by 1180 mm, plus a 10 mm allowance, determines the floor space needed, while the 1220 mm height fits under standard worktop overhangs. The temperature range of +1 °C to +10 °C accommodates fresh meats, cheeses, fish and other chilled goods, but excludes frozen items.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel worktop and white-coated surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The straight front glass can be slightly opened for access, and the hinged back doors allow thorough cleaning of the storage chamber. The condenser outlet container should be emptied regularly to prevent overflow, and the alarm system alerts staff to any blockage or fan failure.

The LUZON DEEP 1.56 is part of a modular series that includes internal and external corner units, allowing the display line to be customised to the layout of the premises. The anodised aluminium profiles and bumpers are available in different colours to match the shop's branding.
