The unit circulates cold air with a fan, drawing heat away from the stored items and expelling it at the condenser. The refrigeration system uses a blend of R134 A and R290 refrigerants, balancing cooling performance with environmental considerations.

To operate the showcase, the operator loads the storage chamber through hinged back doors, arranging products on the white coated steel shelves. The curved front glass swings open for easy access to the display area, allowing quick restocking or customer service. The electronic temperature controller is set to the desired holding range between +1 °C and +10 °C, with the digital display showing the current temperature. LED lighting illuminates the interior, with options for white, confectionery or pink tones to enhance product presentation. An automatic defrost cycle prevents ice build-up, while alarms alert staff to condenser blockages or fan failures.

The cabinet's body is constructed from white coated sheet metal, with a stainless steel worktop providing a durable surface for preparation or additional storage. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the unit, complementing the selectable bumper and insulated side panel colours. The worktop extends over a service-side base flashing, protecting the floor and simplifying cleaning. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation maintains temperature stability, while the condenser outlet directs waste water to a container for easy disposal.

The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement matches standard UK commercial circuits, allowing straightforward installation in most professional kitchens. The unit's footprint of 1300 mm wide, 830 mm deep and 1220 mm high, plus a 10 mm tolerance, fits into typical counter layouts while providing ample display and storage space. The adjustable temperature range supports holding chilled ready-to-eat foods, beverages and desserts without freezing them.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel worktop and white coated steel interior with mild detergent, while the curved front glass can be cleaned with glass cleaner to maintain visibility. The hinged back doors and removable LED lighting simplify access for deeper cleaning. The condenser outlet container should be emptied regularly to prevent overflow, and the fan and condenser checked for dust accumulation to ensure efficient operation.
