A ventilated cold showcase keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a steady low temperature. Inside, a refrigeration unit circulates cold air through a fan, ensuring every shelf receives the same cooling effect. This dynamic cooling prevents warm spots and keeps food at a safe, consistent temperature without freezing it. The showcase relies on two refrigerants—R134a for the primary circuit and R290 for the secondary—to transfer heat out of the cabinet, lowering the internal air until it reaches the set range. A curved front glass panel opens to allow restocking, while the glass sides and insulated plastic ends reduce heat gain from the surroundings, cutting the load on the refrigeration system.

Loading the MONIKA DEEP 2.5 begins by opening the curved front glass. The operator places chilled items on the white-coated steel shelves inside the storage chamber, then closes the glass to restore the seal. The electronic controller on the service side is set to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C; the digital display confirms the setting. Once powered, the unit automatically defrosts at intervals, melting any ice build-up without manual intervention. An alarm sounds if the condenser becomes clogged or the fan fails, alerting staff to check the rear outlet where the warm air is expelled into a container.

The body is constructed from white-coated sheet metal with a service-side base flashing for easy cleaning. The worktop is stainless steel, providing a durable surface for additional prep or display. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass, and the bumper is available in different colours to match kitchen decor. LED lighting inside the cabinet can be specified in white, confectionery or pink to highlight the displayed goods. The entire unit measures 2520 mm long, 830 mm wide and 1220 mm high, plus a 10 mm tolerance, giving a footprint that fits standard worktop depths while offering ample display volume.

A 230 V, 50 Hz supply powers the refrigeration unit and controls, requiring a dedicated circuit typical of professional kitchens. The temperature range of +1 °C to +10 °C suits chilled ready-to-eat foods, dairy and desserts that must stay above freezing but below room temperature. Automatic defrosting reduces daily maintenance, while the hinged back doors of the storage chamber allow quick access for deep cleaning or restocking from the rear.
