IGLOO Neutral Showcase INNOVA 140.140 for Confectionery Display

A neutral-temperature display case keeps confectionery at room conditions without refrigeration, letting colours and textures show exactly as they were made. The INNOVA 140.140 from IGLOO uses a sealed, argon-filled glass front that slides open on an electromagnetic lock, so the interior stays dust-free and the presentation remains unbroken when staff reach in. LED strips along the front frame and upper interior cast even, cool light across every shelf, highlighting details without warming the contents.

To load the showcase, the operator unlocks the front glass with a key or remote control, slides it back along its track, and places trays or individual items on the adjustable glass shelves. The shelves rest on painted metal brackets that can be moved up or down and tilted to direct the light where it is most effective. A stainless-steel lower shelf and a melamine-clad base provide extra storage or display space. Once the confectionery is arranged, the front glass is closed and locked, sealing the interior until the next restocking.

The case is built on a wooden frame finished in colours from the IGLOO pattern book, with matching wooden worktop and external side panels. Combined glass panels—two sheets with argon gas between them—form the front, sides and rear sliding door, reducing condensation and improving insulation. A stainless-steel kick plinth protects the base from cleaning tools and trolleys.

Controls are minimal: a key switch or remote for the electromagnetic lock, and a standard 230 V plug that connects to any single-phase kitchen circuit. The 36.3 W power rating covers only the LED lighting, so the unit draws very little current and generates almost no heat inside the case.

The 1400 mm width, 850 mm depth and 1400 mm height create a large, unobstructed display volume that can be used alone or stacked with other INNOVA modules. Adjustable glass shelves allow the interior to be reorganised for different product lines without tools. The neutral temperature range means the case is suitable for items that do not require chilling, such as cakes, pastries, chocolates and decorated biscuits.

Cleaning is straightforward: the front glass slides open for access to the interior, and all glass and stainless-steel surfaces can be wiped with a damp cloth. The wooden worktop and external panels are finished in melamine for easy maintenance. The lower melamine case and kick plinth are designed to resist moisture and cleaning chemicals.

The INNOVA 140.140 is part of the IGLOO INNOVA line, which includes refrigerated and neutral showcases in various widths. All models share the same modular construction, allowing them to be combined into continuous counters or island displays.
