IGLOO Neutral Showcase INNOVA 70.140 for Confectionery Display

A neutral showcase keeps confectionery at room temperature while presenting it under bright, even light. The INNOVA 70.140 from IGLOO uses no refrigeration, relying instead on ambient air circulation to maintain a stable environment for cakes, pastries and sweets that do not require chilling. LED strips along the front frame and upper interior cast a cool, shadow-free glow across every shelf, making colours and textures stand out without generating heat that could affect the products.

The showcase opens with an innovative retractable front glass panel that slides smoothly into the body of the unit. An electromagnetic lock secures the glass when closed, preventing accidental opening while allowing quick access when needed. The operator loads the shelves from the rear through a sliding door, adjusting each glass shelf's height and angle to suit different product sizes. The lower stainless-steel shelf provides additional display space or can hold trays of fresh stock ready for replenishment.

Construction combines external glass panels filled with argon for insulation, wooden elements in a choice of finishes from the IGLOO pattern book, and a melamine lower case. The inner frame is painted in a matching colour, and the kick plinth is stainless steel for durability. A wooden work surface tops the unit, offering a stable area for arranging items before they go on display or for placing a till or decorative elements.

Controls are minimal: the unit plugs into a standard 230 V, 50 Hz single-phase circuit, drawing 22.4 W to power the LED lighting. No temperature settings are required, as the showcase remains neutral.

The 700 mm width, 850 mm depth and 1400 mm height create a footprint that fits against most shop counters while providing ample vertical display space. The unit can be used alone or stacked with other INNOVA modules to build a larger display wall. The neutral temperature allows it to sit alongside refrigerated cases without creating condensation or temperature conflicts.

Cleaning involves wiping the glass shelves and stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The rear sliding door and retractable front glass panel should be cleaned regularly to maintain visibility. Wooden and melamine surfaces can be dusted or wiped with a slightly damp cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
