Confectionery showcase PASTELLA SWEET 660mm, Temperature range +4/+10ºC
A refrigerated showcase keeps delicate pastries at a steady cool temperature while displaying them under bright, even light. The unit draws heat away from the interior with a refrigerant that circulates through an internal cooling coil. As the refrigerant evaporates, it absorbs heat, lowering the air temperature inside the cabinet. A fan then moves this cooled air across the shelves, ensuring every pastry stays within the set range without drying out or forming ice. Automatic defrost cycles melt any frost that builds up on the coil, keeping the system running efficiently without manual intervention.
To use the showcase, plug it into a standard 230 V supply and set the electronic regulator to the desired temperature between +4 °C and +10 °C. The digital display shows the current reading. Load pastries onto the three glass shelves, adjusting their height and angle to fit different sizes. Each shelf has its own LED strip, illuminating the products from above. The front glass opens smoothly on a curved track, giving staff clear access to the shelves while keeping the cold air inside. A lower painted-steel shelf provides extra storage or display space.
The outer casing is made of coated steel sheet, while the side and front panels are melamine in a choice of colours. Inside, the frame is painted to match, and the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam. An alarm sounds if the condenser becomes clogged or the fan stops, alerting staff to check the unit. The cooling system uses R290 refrigerant, which has a low environmental impact.
The showcase can stand alone or be linked with others to form a longer display. Its footprint of 660 mm depth, 850 mm width and 1200 mm height fits most worktops or can be placed on the floor. The 230 V connection means it plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, avoiding the need for special wiring in the kitchen.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass shelves, painted interior and melamine panels with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The front glass lifts off its track for thorough cleaning, and the lower shelf can be removed if needed. The electronic regulator and alarm system require no regular maintenance beyond checking the display for error messages.
