A remote-cooled confectionery showcase keeps delicate pastries chilled while displaying them under bright, even lighting. The cooling system draws heat away from the interior and expels it through an external condenser, which keeps the unit itself compact and quiet. Refrigerant circulates through coils inside the cabinet, lowering the air temperature to the set range without drying the food. Because the condenser is separate, the showcase can be placed anywhere in the kitchen or front-of-house without adding heat or noise to the workspace.

The operator loads the pastries onto the three glass shelves, adjusting their height and angle to create an organised display. The front glass opens smoothly with a gentle curve, allowing easy access without disturbing the chilled air inside. Once the showcase is stocked, the electronic regulator maintains the temperature between +4 and +10 °C, ensuring the pastries stay fresh without freezing. A digital display shows the current temperature, and an alarm sounds if the condenser becomes blocked or the fan fails, preventing spoilage.

The outer casing is made of coated steel sheet, chosen for its resistance to scratches and ease of cleaning. Inside, the melamine front panel and painted steel frame are available in various colours to match the kitchen's aesthetic. The lower shelf, also made of painted steel, provides additional storage or display space. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation fills the walls, reducing energy use while keeping the interior temperature stable.

The showcase operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz supply, the standard for professional kitchens in the UK. Its footprint of 600 mm depth, 850 mm width, and 1200 mm height allows it to fit against most worktops or be combined with other PASTELLA SWEET units to create a longer display. The remote cooling system means the unit can be linked to a single external condenser, reducing maintenance and energy costs when multiple showcases are used together.

Cleaning involves wiping the coated steel exterior and melamine panel with a damp cloth. The glass shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, while the painted interior surfaces resist stains and moisture. The lower steel shelf is similarly easy to maintain, and the smooth surfaces of the front glass and curved opening prevent dirt from accumulating in crevices.

The PASTELLA SWEET 0.6 W Remote is part of the IGLOO confectionery series, designed for modular use in bakeries, cafés, and patisseries. It is powered exclusively by an external generator, ensuring consistent cooling without relying on the showcase's internal components.
